Commercial and Industrial

Investor-Owned Utilities

The Energy Policy Act of 2005 has mandated that within 18 months of enactment, utilities provide any customer that desires it with rates that reflect the time-based cost of energy. The Energy Policy Act also requires that utilites provide these customers with Smart Meters that allow these customers to see their usage information. Internet Energy Systems has a real-time demand response solution that every utility should deploy in order to meet the Energy Policy Act requirements. Municipal Utilities

Municipal utilities also have to meet the Energy Policy Act of 2005 requirements. The Internet Energy Systems solution scales from the smallest utility to the largest because of our license per meter instead of large up-front software and hardware costs. If you have 20 or fewer meters you want to provide real-time monitoring for, simply pay our hosted license fee and utilize our hosted software service. If you have more than 20 or wish to host the service yourself, simply pay our unhosted license fee and any installation and technical support fees. Electric Cooperatives
